My first impression was that his place screamed “home cooking” and boy was I right.
We were lucky enough to have Pete himself greet and seat us.What a pleasant human!
The food was pretty dang good, with the special being almond french toast which I of course ordered.
With 499 (now 500) reviews and nothing but good things to say, this place is a must try.
Food is 4 star and service/hospitality is 6 star with the reasoning being: as we left, it was hot outside and Pete brought the people in line some cold OJ to drink while they waited.
